Connect Oracle behind Firewall

Problem: TNS:operation timed out

Reason : Oracle database server behind any type of firewall.

Solution: Add “USE_SHARED_SOCKET”=”TRUE”, on the windows registry.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\HOME0]

“USE_SHARED_SOCKET”=”TRUE
